The presented bar chart depicts the spending of two states on consumer products in 2010.
Overall, France and the United Kingdom had spent approximately the same amount of money on cars, computers and perfume, while expenditure on books and cameras had a significant distinction.
According to the bar chart, the number-one product in both countries were cars, with total 850 000 pounds sterling spent on them. Computers were ranked second with negligible difference in 25 000 pounds, where France paid marginally more than the United Kingdom. Perfume, on which France spent 200 000 pounds and United Kingdom more or less 180 000 pounds, had the least cost in the whole.
It is clear that payment for cameras in the UK, which showed the largest difference between two states, was more than twice as in France. Although, the UK was also leader in book category, it had slightly more expenditure than in France, 400 000 and 300 000 pounds respectively.
