The pie graph illustrates the most common types of transportation to work or study, which students used in 2004 and 2009.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that the number of people, who traveled by car decreased significantly in almost two times. However, the popularity of buses and bicycles expanded.
It is noticeable that more individuals used to travel by their own automobile in 2004 by about 51%, because car parking in university has changed. In contrast, only 28% of students used cars as method of transportation in 2009. Moreover, the average usage of buses became higher from 33% in 2004 to 46% in 2009, since new bus stops were built in 2006.
It can be witnessed that the proportion of students, who used bicycles as their main way of transportation rose steadily from 9% to 16%. Furthermore, usage of trains and walking slightly increased from 3% to 4% and from 4% to 6% respectively.
