Overall, Europe is significantly affected by all for reasons, including over-grazing, deforestration, over-cultivation, and other. In contrast, Ocenia remained non-affected by over-cultivation.

Notably, the percentages of degraded land in both North Amarica and Ocenia are negligible, which constitute less than about 0.5 percent. In addition, deforestration also followed this trend in the case of North Amarica, with a percentage value that is approximately similar to that of, which affected by other reasons. Furthermore, over-grazing and over-cultivation caused the land degradation in relatively lower percentages in North America with respective percentages of approximately, 1.5 percent 3.0 percent.

In Oceania, land degradation caused deforestration in almost a similar proportion that over-grazing accounted that of in North America.
