In 2006, private cars still topped the list, at 24 million registrations, representing 26.32% of growth. “Other” vehicles also observed a substantial climb by 58.33% to 2 million registrations. In contrast, motorcycles and lorries saw downward trends, by 40% and 20%, dropping to 0.6 million and 0.4 million, respectively. Buses, coaches, and taxis remained unchanged throughout the period.
