Overall, graph represents the increasing trend in the numbers of insurance issued in both life and non life sectors. Although, there was notable difference in number of policy sold in 2016 between life and non-life insurance, disparity remained unnoticeable in following years.
In 2015, around 1.2 million life insurance was issued, while less than 1.1 million non life insurance was recorded. The following year saw sharp rise in both sectors, where non-life insurance reached slightly more than 1.4 million overtaking life insurance with marginally less policies. Non-life policies continued it’s dominance in 2017, with minor difference, reaching around 1.8 million policies.
Although previous years had seen the rapid growth in previous years, from 2017, growth remained steady. In 2018, life insurance took the dominance with liitle margin at around 1.8 million, continuing it’s supremacy in 2019 with around 1.9 million policies.
