The given bar graph compares the number of insurance policies issued by insurance companies in terms of life and Non-life insurance in between 2015 and 2019 in Nepal.

Overall, there is a noticeable increase in the number of policies over the years. Moreover, life insurance had the highest figure while the non-life was the lowest.

Looking first at 2015, number of policies issued by life insurance was 1,200,000 and it registered 1,080,000 in terms of non-life insurance. In 2016, the ‘life insurance’ figure increased to 1,330,000 policy besides the same for ‘non-life’ condition so that rose to 1,400,000, then it maitains increasing until it reached 1,700,000 policy in 2016. Meanwhile, the life insurance stood at 1,750,000.

Turning to the next year, the life insurance returned to be the highest figure with 1,820,000 policy above the other category. Furthermore, in 2019, the ‘Life insurance’ detail peaked at 1,950,000 policy, in the other hand the ‘non-life insurance’ reached 1,900,000.
