The line chart illustrates the quantity of participants for four different activities : racquet sports, fitness classes, swimming and circuit training between 1995 and today at Santon Sports Club. Overall, the number of members that does racquet sport decreases, fitness classes and circuit training’s participant increases, and swimming remains constant.
In 1990, racquet sports was the most popular activity among the four, standing between 250 to 300 participants at that time. The figure then falls dramatically over the years and reaches an all time low of participants, falling just below 150 members participating today. Fitness classes on the other hand started with only around 120 members joining, making it to have the lowest number of participants. The number then increases steadily, eventually overtaking racquet sports and reaching a peak of approximately 220 people joining recently.
There is a total of 250 members that does swimming in 1990. The number from 1990 remained constant until this day despite having a slight rise in 2000. Circuit training initially holds a gross of roughly 160 partakers. This activity became popular over time and manages to overtake swimming’s number in 2000 before reaching it’s optimum of just below 300 this day.
