The line graph depicts the quantity of people participating in various sports activities at Santon Sports Club from 1990 up till now. Overall, there were two opposite trends in the figures given.
In 1990, racquet sports were the most popular, closely followed by swimming with 290 members and 250 members respectively. However, racquet athletics experienced a dramatic decline from 290 to 200 players in the first five years. Subsequently, there has been a gradual decrease till now. Likewise, representative of the swimming club remained steady at 250 people within five years then falling and recovering of 20 swimmers at the end of period.
In marked contrast, fitness classes and circuit training have experienced an increasing popularity. The quantity of participant joining fitness classes climbed slowly to 150 members over five-year period from 1990 before growing moderately to 210 in 2000, followed by a minor rise of 10 participants till now. Similarly, after growing exponentially from 160 to 280 people in the first ten years, the quantity of member doing circuit training has risen gradually to 290 till the present day.
It is noticeable that circuit training has attracted most members in the present year.
