Additionally, in 1981 both rented and owned households had the same proportion of 50%. In 1981 and 2001 households in rented accommodation had almost similar proportion of 68% and 69% respectively on the bar chart.
In contrast, rented space had a proportion of 78% while owned household had a proportion of 22% in 1981, in 2011 owned household had a proportion of 63% while rented accommodation had a proportion of 45%.
