Overall, it is clear that in 2018, all age gruops showed higher figures compared to the year 2014, but people who were older than 45 were less influenced by internet shopping in both years.
In 2014, the proportion of online shoppers aged 15-25 was at 20%, however, in the next age stage this figure increased noticeably to nearly 31%, which was the highest level for this year. In the following age group that from 35 to 45, less people were addicted by online buying, for percentages about 27%. Then, people’s (older than 45) interest in virtual shopping constantly dropped, the lowest rate was nearly 5% belonged to 65+ people.
In 2018, the statistics were a bit different, the first and second age groups showed a bit higher figure than in 2014 about 24% and 33% respectively. In the proportion of online shoppers aged from 35 to 45 had a considerable growth to 38%, giving it the top spot. After this age group, similarly to the year 2014, constant decline was started among statistics for web shoppers, but even during the decline, all remaining groups showed a bit higher figure compared to in 2014.
