The graph provides information about the percentage of man and woman teachers in six (Pre-school, Primary school, Secondary school, College, Prtivate training Institute, University) various kinds of educational setting in the UK in 2010.
Overall, it is clear that women took the highest percentage at the first educational centres like Pre-school and Primary school, whereas men’s highest proportion have seemed at the last settings such as Private training Institute and University. Additionally, at college both men and women teachers represented the same proportion.
To begin with, at pre school and primary school women teachers made up approximately 95% and 90% respectively. At secondary school women teachers accounted only for 55%, and at Institute female professors was 45%. At the last setting, at university women professors took only 30% approximately.
The men teachers represented the lowest proportion at nursery and primary school made up almost 5% and 10% respectively. However, at secondary school and at private institute the men lecturers accounted for 45% and 67% respectively. And at the last educational environment the male lecturers showed the highest percentage almost 75%. Moreover, at college both male and femal made up 50%.
