Overall, female teachers’ participation decreases as the level of education increases. In other words, while they are predominate in the first three types of educational setting, male educators significantly outnumber female teachers in tertiary education.
Delving into the details, in nursery and primary school female tutors were prevalent with roughly 100% and 95% respectively. However, in secondary school, college, and private training institute percentage of the women teachers as nearly half much as it was in the first two educational settings.
Secondary schools have a slightly more women, that are closely to 55%, whereas private training institutes experience a complete opposite circumstance, with approximately 55% of male teachers. Colleges, on the other hand, employed equal number of both genders. Finally, the proportion of men educators reached a peak in universities, with around 70% of presence.
