Overall, the percentage of females in the United States and Germany was higher than that of men, whereas the opposite was observed in the remaining three countries.
To begin with, Germany dominated the female category, with women making up 45% of the population pursuing higher education, while the figure for men was 10% lower. As for the USA, women had higher educational qualifications, accounting for 40%, compared to 35% for men.
In the male-dominated countries, there was a 10% disparity between females and males with a university diploma in Switzerland, with the latter being dominant (45%). Similarly, the figure for men who possessed higher education qualifications in Britain was 5% higher than that of women. Interestingly, a 5% difference could also be seen in Japan.
