The line graph illustrates the proportion of individuals in four different age groups who went to cinema once a month or more in a particular country in Europe between 2000 and 2011.
Overall, there was an upward trend in the percentage of people belonged to all age groups examined throughout the given year. In addition, while the number of people aged between 15 and 24 years old had by far the highest figures among the age groups examined, the figure for oldest age group remain lowest.
In 200, the percentage of people aged 15-24 going to the cinema once a month or more started at about 15%, after which it saw a rapid growth to approximately 53% in 2011, despite some fluctuations. Similar changes, but to lesser extent, was seen in the figure for people aged between 7 and 14 years old, which increased from 10% in 2000 to exactly 30% by the end of the given period.
About 5% of people belonged to 25-35 age group who went to cinema in 2000, with a subsequent rise to 30% in 2011. Meanwhile, the figure for the oldest age group rose gradually from around 2% to reached a peak of 14% by the end of the years.
