The line graph illustrates the proportion of people of different age groups who watched movies once a month or more in a particular European country between the time period of 2000 to 2011.
Overall, the numbers of people who went to cinema increased throughout the period of time.The most significant growth is seen in the age group of 15-24.
At the beginning of the year, about 15% of 15-24 age group adults preferred to watch cinema at least once or more in a month.This number surged to almost double and half in 2007 before it fell to 30% in 2008. However, this number again increased by the same percentage in 2009 as it fell in 2008 and reached its peak value of almost 55% before falling back to 50% again in 2011.
The most dramatic fluctuation seen in the age group of 7-14 and 25-35.In 2000, age group 7-14 and 25-35 were at around 10% and 5% respectively. They both fluctuated from 2000 to 2004 before they became equal in 2005.This fluctuation continued till 2013 making both number equal to around 26%. In contrast, the numbers of people of age group 35 and above increased thought the period of time.
