Overall, a larger proportion of female students can speak in multiple languages effectively as compared to their countepart male students. This inferrence is consistent in all the countries except Thailand, where the converse is true.
The proportion of female students who can flently express themselves in other languages exceeds 50% in Romania, India and Vietnam. On the other hand, the only country with more that half of the fluent multilingual male learners is Romania
Statistically, India has the largest proportion of student population with knowledge of alien languages with approximately 55% of the male students and over 60% of the female students. Only Romania shows an almost similar figure in female students.
China and Thailand have the lowest percentages of students with knowledge in langaugages from other countries, with China trailing behind all other countries. Russia has slightly more multilingual students with their male and female students having approximately 35% and slightly over 40% respectively. However, these three countries have less than half of both their male and female srudents being fluent in other laguages.
