The bar chart presents information on the proportion of men , women and children in the UK who stick to the recommeded daily eating habits of fruits and vegetables in 2002,2006,and 2010. Overall, it can be noticeable that women were more active than their male counterparts in all three years, children being the least responsible.
In 2002, females were more responsible than men and children , towards their eating habits , accounting for 25% and In the following years women kept their popularity in consuming the right proportion of food , making up 32% in 2006 and slightly less (27%) in 2010
When it comes to men and children, the same trend was experienced, with men being the second large group of respondents throughout all three periods and children always getting the last place. In 2002, men’s share was 22% , however, numbers rose to 28% in 2006, a bit declining to 24% till the end of the period. Meanwhile, children was the lowest category in each given period, containing 11%,16%, and 14%.
