Overall, three different catagories of residents: Men, Women, and Children was the citizens of the UK, who consumed fruits and vegetables through years. The proportion of the Women was the highest in number as compared to others.
In 2002, the percentage of Men was at approximately 23%, who consumed recommended amount of fruits and vegetables every day. The proportion of the consumption of fruits and vegetables rose to 25% in 2006. In 2010, the percentage decreased gradually and reached around 12%.
In 2002, the proportion of Women who consumed suggested number of fruits and vegetables was roughly 26%, which rose near to 32% in 2006. In 2010, the ratio declined nearly to 19%.
The percentage of children who consumed recommended amount of fruits and vegetables was nearly to 24% in 2002. There is a slight increase in ratio in 2006, which rose to roughly 26%, almost same to the percentage of Men in 2006. After that, there is a slight derease in numbers and reached approximately 16% in 2010.
