The line graph illustrates how four different types of bread costs in euros of 800 grams in a country of Europe between 2001 and 2006. Overall, the brown bread had a significant lead in terms of maintaining a higher cost than the other types of bread over the period, except in 2002 for the count of wholegrain one.
Regarding the cost of brown and wholegrain breads, the type of wholegrain bread began with a considerable dominance in its cost with nearly 0.8 euros initially, before reaching a pick of 1.8 euros in 2002. In contrast, it decreased to its previous cost in 2005, placing it in the least position. Although other types of bread started the period with almost 0.6 units, the brown one witnessed a higher growth than others, before becoming the most desirable food with about 1.6 units in the last year.
As for white and rye bread costs, both of them saw a rise, but white one more from 0.6 units in 2001 to around 1.3 units in 2005, coming in second position. There was a slight increase in the cost of rye bread from 0.6 euros initially to about 0.7 euros in 2005, placing it in the last position.
