This chart sows us the proportion of staff employed by agein the public sector in the UK in 2015 and 2020.
overall the largest proportion of employees was middle-aged in both years . In 2020 the share of younger workers increased while the olders decreased .In addition in 2015 employers over 50 were 23% but in 2020 noticable decreased to 16%.
In 2015 staffs over 21-50 made up the biggest group of workers while the tiniest were employees under 21 14% of the proportion. The middle group was those aged 25-35.
In 2020 the percentage of young sector workers noticably increased for instance in 2015 employees aged 21-30 were 23% and in 2020 it increased to 33%
.At the same time the share of employees under 35 fell compared to 2015.
