The bar chart illustrates information about survey respondents who are interest in particular sport in UK over a period between 1995 to 2005. The data is represented in percentages. Overall, the percentages of people for football, swimming and rugby increased significantly throughout the period , while respondents for snooker tennis and golf showed the opposite trend.
The figure for football were conciderably bigger. At the beginning of the period, respondents for football stood at around 40%. The figure then go up approximately to 42% in 2000. By the end of the period the percentage had reached to 45. The figure for swimming and rugby stood at around 23% in 1995. In the 2000 year the percentage of swimming increased noticeably at approximately 29%. Then its go down at 25% in 2005. Rugby in 2000 year stood at around 20% then increased rapidly at around 28%.
The remaining categories show much smaller figures. In contrast, snooker tennis and golf started at around 25% in 1995. Then they declined slightly over the following years.
