The pie chart gives information about the percentage of people who visited four different types of tourist attractions (Theme parks, Wildlife parks and zoos, Historic houses and monuments, and Museums & galleries) in the year 1999 in Britain.
Overall, theme parks were the most attracted places for tourists to visit in the country, whereas wildlife parks and zoos were the smallest proportion of the tourist spots.
In 1999, Museums and galleries accounted for 37% of visitors being interested in seeing art galleries. However, Historic houses and monuments comprised of only 16% in the same year. Wildlife parks and zoos made up only 9% in 1999 being the lowest visited attraction.
On the other hand, theme parks contributed 38% in 1999 which consisted of different attractions under it. Blackpool pleasure beach attracted 47% of tourists coming to theme parks, Alton towers was at 17% and Pleasureland in Southport had 16% of visitors. However, Chessington world of adventures and Legoland in Windsor contributed the equal percentage of tourists (10%).
