Overall, the USA have the highest amount of imigrants out of all the given countries, whereas, India comes last in both time periods, and it also have the lowest amount of migrant’ share in it national populations; However, Germany takes the lead in the amounts of migrant in it national population.
Firstly, In 2000 USA had around 35 million imigrants before it made a significant rise to about 50 million imigrant in 2020. In contast, for Germany and Russia they have around the same amounts of imigrant in both periods, where in 2000 Germany had just below 10 million imigrant, and Russian just above 10 million, Whereas, in 2020 both countries recorded around the same amount with just over 10 million.
Moreover, for the share of migrant in Germany, United Kingdom, as well as the USA all of them recorded almost similar proportions with around 14.7%, 14% and 13.5% respectively. In the other hand, we have Russia with a lower percentage of 8.1%, and for last there’s India with the lowest proportion of all the other countries 0.4%.
