Overall, even if some items contributed more financially, all the mentioned categories showed an upward trend except gems and jewelry.
Turning to more specific terms, It can be observed that Petroleum products and engineered goods topped the chart; earning over $60 to $62 billion and 58 to 62 billion with a 3% and 8.5% increase between 2015 and 2016 respectively.
However, agricultural products and textile earned the least of about $31 to $33 billion and $27-$33 billion and although they both experienced a rise in 2016, agricultural products showed a slight increase of only 0.18% while textile experienced a dramatic rise of 15.24% in 2016.
Meanwhile, gems and jewelry displayed a downward trend unlike the others. where it saw a decrease from approximately $43 billion in 2015, to $40 billion in 2016. It experienced over 5.18% decrement between the estimated years.
