The first chart shows the several categories for export revenue in one country for two different times; 2015 & 2016, while the table visualizes the changing value percentage. Overall, there is an increasing trend for exports in 2015 and 2016, except for jewelry and gems.
The dominant sector for exported goods was in petroleum and engineered goods, marking $60 and $55 billion, respectively. Both sectors increased sales to over $60 billion in 2016. The other categories, gems and jewellery, had slightly decreased sales from approximately $42 billion in 2015 to $40 billion a year after. The least revenue was in textiles with around $26 billion in 2015. Yet, these categories had an upward trend in 2016, recorded at $31 billion.
The highest increasing data from 2015 to 2016 was for textiles, with 15.24%. The trend is aligned with other categories; petroleum, engineered, and agricultural, which had an increased trend of 3%, 8.5%, and 0.81%, respectively. The unique trend was shown in gems and jewellery with a downward trend of approximately one-fifth of textiles growth percentages.
