The given bar chart delineates the export earnings in five categories while the exhibited table illustrates the percentage of change for each kind of product in two separate years, namely 2015 and 2016.
Overall, the ascending trend was recorded in most brackets, except for gems and jewellery which experienced a decline throughout the period shown. Another striking feature is that petroleum products continued to take the lead in export revenue.
Focusing on the first two brackets, in 2015, the export incomes of petroleum products and engineered goods were more or less 60. However, that of the latter witnessed a more significant rise, about 8.5% whereas the former just increased by 3%.
Turning to the remaining categories, textiles had the smallest earning in 2015, at only 25 while the figures for gems and jewellery and agricultural products were 40 and 30 respectively. Nevertheless, by the end of the given period, textiles witnessed the highest increasing proportion, about 15% whereas that of agricultural products and gems jewellery was smaller at roughly 1% and 5%,correspondencely.
