The bar graph illustrates how many tonnes of wheat, barley, rice, and other grains were available in India, the US, and China in 2001. Overall, India had the lowest yield in all types of grains, while the opposite was true for the US, except for China where rice was the majority.
Regarding the US and China, 3.5 tonnes of wheat was recorded in the former, 1 tonnes higher than the latter. Moreover, this gap was slightly narrowed in the amount of barley, with 7 tonnes in the US and 6.5 tonnes in China. Conversely, China had more rice than the US, with 6 tonnes and 5 tonnes, respectively. Meanwhile, the figures for other categories of grains in these two countries were dominated and in parity, at 9 tonnes each.
Concerning India, it was the poorest agricultural country, ranging from only 1 tonne of rice to the highest of only just below 2 tonnes of other grains.
