The given bar chart compares the choice of vehicle from a car, a motorcycle, or a bicycle by the young young population of Australia, the US, Canada, and New Zealandin the year 2000. The unit is measured in percentage.
Overall, it can be seen that in the all the concerned countries, cars had been the most preferred vehicles compared to the motorcycles among the youth.
According to the chart, 60% of the youngsters in Australia had shown preference for cars while bicycles were their second favourite choice standing at a 50%, compared to all other nationalities, Australian youth least preferred motorbike at only fifth. A similar trend existed in the United States when the car users stood at 80% at the same time, motorcycle and bycycle preferences wereat 25% and 60% respectively.
On the other hand, 50% of the youngsters in Canada and New Zealand were depicts preference for cars, whereas in New Zealand youngsters 45% bicycle and 40% motorcycle preferred than Canada. In canada 35% bicycle and 30% motorcycle preferred as a trasnport.
In summary, car was the highly choosen as a transport, while motorcycle were less prefrred in all countries.
