In detail, the percentage of females in India led the rankings, with 67% compared with 56% of females. Similarly, the figure for students in Russia also had a modest disparity, at 43% for females and 35% for males, with the respective figure for counterparts in Thailand being 27% and 32%. This meant that the least gender disparity was recorded in Thai Lan.
In contrast, the substantial gender gap was reported in other countries, with the most dramatic being seen in Romania. Specifically, there were 65% for females and 42% for males in Thailand. Additionally, China and Vietnam were registered at 32% and 56% females, respectively, as opposed to the corresponding figures of 15% and 39% of males.
