The bar chart compares information about the number and purposes of trips made by men and women in one year in a certain European country with 5 main features: day trips, sport and entertainment, visiting friends, shopping, and the final is travelling to work.
Overall, the figure for trips made by men to travel to work accounted for the highest proportion in the chart; however, the number of day trips was significantly lower. Conversely,
women have a similar phenomenon to men, but both purposes of trips made by women are travel to work, and day trips remain lower than those of men.
Looking at the bar chart, the number of trips to work made by men reaches a peak of 340, and its dominance is the highest among all figures. Shopping and visiting friends experience a similar number of trips, comprising 198, and remain the second highest figure. Followed by sports and entertainment, which accounted for approximately 149. By contrast, day trips represented only small minority figure, just 45 proportion.
Turning to the quantity of trips made by women, the proportion of shopping received the most favourable numbers and was predominant at 296. Subsequently, both visiting friends and travelling to work comparable at 210 in the statistics of trips. The next figure is sports and entertainment, which remained at 160 quantiy of travel. Nevertheless, the smallest figure is day trips, and an experience a marginal figure.
