Overall, it is clear that the figures for Australia and France show a small variation between 1980 and 2015. In addition, it is also noticeable that females who take higher education in the United Kingdom, the United States, and South Korea have experienced growth compared with both years.
Focusing on the bars for Australia and France, these two countries have maintained their values in both years. The percentage of women going into higher education in Australia was around 59% in 1980 and 2015. Meanwhile, France had a small fluctuation, which was about 4% because the figure surged from 50% to 54%
Turning to the other three countries – the UK, the USA, and South Korea – these countries had a relatively significant gap between the two years. The rate for the UK was only 35% in 1980 but grew to 55%, which was an increase of 20%. The USA showed 38% in 1980 and rose to 58%. The women of South Korea were only 16% in 1980. However, in 2015, the figure increased to 30%.
