The bar graph provides information on the rates of female school leavers going in to higher education in five different countries in the years 1980 and 2015.
overall, There is a significant rise in the number of female students who are into higher studies in every country in 2015, when compared with 1980. However, in 1980, only Australia recorded a 50% of school leaver joining higher education, while the rest of the countries were below 50%. On the other hand, in 2015 only South Korea couldn’t make it to 50% .
To begin with, in 1980 UK and USA had only about 35% each, of school leaver going into higher education, however by 2015 they had around 55% of school leavers joining higher education. Percentage of high school leavers in France, in 1980 were 50%, and it had a increment by 5% in 2015. However, south koreans were marked low in the chart with 15% in 1980, surprisingly, by 2015 its was doubled to 30%.
On the contrary, Rates of school leavers joining higher education remain at 55% in both years.
