The bar chart displays the proportion of men and women who are working in seven different sectors throughout the United Kingdom in 2007.

Overall, it is evident that the percentage of female is higher than the percentage of male.

In terms of advertising, around 50% female were working there whereas 10% less men were working in the same profession. The percentage of female in teaching and male in construction was identical that was 90 percent similarly the percentage of female in construction and male in teaching was 10 percent. Therapist was the only area where the percentage of women was very high compared to the men that was nearly 80% and 20% respectively.

According to the bar chart, the same number of men and women were working as journalists, that was exactly 50%. In addition, 60% of men captured the field of scientist, although 20% less women were working in the same profession. Over 50% male chose law as their profession, however, the percentage of female in the same profession was slightly lower, that was around 45%.
