The pie charts illustrate the distribution of water used in six products and the contributions of them to the total income in the same year.
Overall, there was no clear link between the proportion of water used in these products and the income they generated when vegetables, the segment with the greatest water use, did not possess the highest income. Notably, the figure for rice was the lowest in both categories.
Most water was consumed in producing vegetables with 46 percent, followed by one third of the fruit segment. Other products were relatively low with the proportion not exceeding 12 percent. Notably, the figures for rice and dandelion shared the last position with 3 percent each,
Regarding the income, while fruits only consumed 28 percent of the water, this was the highest source of money, with 40 percent, 10 percent higher than that of vegetables. Moreover, the cereal and lime products possessed the same statistic as the proportion of water used, with 12 percent and 8 percent respectively. Notably, the income from rice represented only 1 percent, being eight times smaller than that that of dandelion, the second lowest figure.
