Overall, The majority of the cost went down CDs and concerts , while, money distribution for digital downloads showed a sharp rise whereas, the amount of money distributed for other sources remained relatively stable throughout the period.
According to the details , the people spent 61% of sales on CDs , which was 30% more than the concerts (at 31%). Money distribution for CDs fell by 20% from 2005 to 2008 after that, it again declined to 26% in the next three years. Whereas, money distribution for concerts followed the same trend decreasing from 31% to 28% between 2005 and 2011.
Getting back to the details, digital downloads had increased significantly to 25% by the year 2008 after that, maintained the same trend at 43% in the last final year.
Money distribution for other sources witnessed no change before 2008 at 2% . Later , the data for other sources rose slowly to 3 % at the end of the period.
