Overall, action films were the most popular genre among men, whereas historical dramas attracted the highest number of female viewers. Western movies were the least popular among both genders. Regarding age, people aged 26–44 made up the largest proportion of cinema visitors, whereas the 55+ age group was the least represented.
As can be seen from the chart, action movies were by far the most watched among men, with over 45 million male viewers. Romcom came in second place for men, attracting nearly 37 million. Historical films and western were slightly less popular with 24% and 5%. At the same time, women showed a clear preference for historical dramas, with just over 30 million female attendees. The proportions for those who loved comedy and action films were less than 30%. Similar to men, westerns were the least favored genre among women.
On the other hand, the largest proportion of cinemagoers (38%) were aged 26–44, followed by the 18–25 age group, which accounted for 31% of visitors. The 45–54 age category made up 15% of attendees, while the least represented group was people aged 55 and above, with only 6% of cinema visitors.
