Overall, the news from tv, radio and newspapers sources decreased albeit at varying degrees, the reverse is true for internet. Moreover, despite the internet started at the lowest degree in the first year, it will overtake other sources as the main source.
The percentage of people who accessed data from tv started at nearly 70% in 1995 and this was followed by significantly decline to around 57% in the next year. Despite a slight rise from around 57% to nearly 60% in 2010, the percentage of people accessing news from the tv dropped marginally to around 55% in 2020. Additionally, newspaper and radio experienced decreases in their rate. Both newspaper and radio witnessed a noticeable decrease from around 55% to about 45% in 2010, a figure that then dropped further to around 30%.
Internet, on the other hand, bucked the trend. Starting at zero percent in 1995, the proportion of people who used the internet at leveled off in the next year. However, there was a dramatical increase to about 30% in 2010, after which it will improve further to around 55% in the final year.
