The table chart compares how the number of life expectancy for male and female in five countries- Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Germany and Sweden changed over a 3-year period, starting from 1900.
Overall, it can be seen that Swedish females’ life expectancy increased, while males’ life expectancy experienced a decrease. Whereas females followed an upward trend, whereas males followed a downward trend.
In the beginning, in 1900, the number of females and males lived in Australia stood at around 37.8 and 39.9. This figure for 1950 and 1990 were about 62.0 and 67.0 to 73.5 and 80.4. However, there was a significant grew in the proportion of male and females’ life expectancy in Belgium during the period from 1900 to 1990. Nevertheless, between 1900 and 1990, the level of male and female lived in Denmark grow up significantly from approximately 51.6 and 54.8 to 72.6 and 78.8.
