In 1900, the average life expectancy was relitavely low in all countries, with austria having the lowest average life expectancy for both females and males, coming in at 39.9 and 37.8 years, respectively, followed by germany, belgium, denmark, and sweden, which has the highest average life expectancy for both females and males, by 1950, the average life expectancy continued to steadily increase in all five countries in the same order, with the difference between females and males remaining consistent across the different countries.
On the other hand, by 1990 the average life expectancy for both females and males have almost doubled in all countries, with the average of 80 years in females and 73 years for males, reaching 80.7 years for females and 74.7 years for males in sweden, which shows a gigantic growth to that seen in 1900, with the average life expectancy for females being almost 48 years, and 43 years for males.
