The bar graph compares the total distance travelled by British passengers on 5 different modes of vehicles over the decade from 1990 to 2000.
It is evident that the total distance trevalled using 3 modes of transport witnessed a considerable growth, particularly bus, Rail, and air travel. using motorbike and bicycle however, was observed to decline in the chart.
Focusing on details, Bus and rail were the most common choice for passengers. Looking at bus travel increased dramatically from 5 kilometers in 1990 to around 10 kilometers by the end of year,while Rail travel also showed a slight rise with average the distance travelled by passengers from 4 kilometers in 1990 to nearly 5 kilometers in 2000. When it comes to Air travel also observered to increase between 3 kilometers in 1990 and 5 kilometers in 2000 respectively.
On the other hand, there was a decline in the use of motorbike and bicycle. In 1990 people travelled by bicycle 5 kilometers per week and then fell to 2 kilometers in 2000.Meanwhile, the figure for motorbike dropped by half, decreasing from 8 kilometers to Just about 3 kilometers during the period.
