The given charts and table demonstrate the age proportion of Little Chalfont Library members, and the share loans by seven different categories, and the total number of loans.
Overall, it can be seen that the majority attenders were of attenders took adults among four categories.
It is also noticable that children and adult fiction were the most popular types of book. Another interesting point is that the quantity of loans had a rise with fluctuations over the given period and question.
According to the pie chart, in which adults (18-64) occupied about half proportion (51%)of library members, they were the most frequent visitors. As for young generation the number of children accounted for approximately one fourth share. With respect to adults who were 65 and over, the proportion constituted only 12%, while teenagers number was higher by 3% (15%).
Regarding to the table, similar position took children’s fiction and adult fiction, 38% respectively. With regard to young adults and adult audio books, this categories had 2% of total loans. Adult non fiction made up 12%, whereas children’s non-fiction was twice less (6%). The last interested category devoted to children’s DVDs, only 1%. In terms of total loans in 2007, the figure was 15,000, but then it grew to over 20,000 in 2011. After that the number of borrowed books decreased sharply under 20,000 in 2013. However, the figure rose to above 22,000 again and reached the top point in the final year.
