The given charts present attending reports of ‘Little Chalfont’ library. Shoving attendance among different ages, categories and number of loans from 2007 to a 2016 years.
Analysing the graph, we can observe a general increase in visiting for eight years, however can a little falls be seen from 2012 to 2013 that haven’t really affected on library. Overall number of visitors kept staying at fifteen to twenty thousand stage, getting over it only in periods from 2010 to 2012 and from 2014 to 2016.
According to a circle diagram, the largest group of loans are Adults 18-64 ages, making up 54% of attendance, next group are children taking 22% from general number of loans and rest are young adults 13-17 years 15%, adults over 65 years 12%.
In terms of 2016 Children’s fiction and Adult fiction are the most popular category for witch the library have been visited. Less popularity has Adult non-fiction literature making up much less 13% comparing to first ones, after that goes Children’s non-fiction also not being much popular with 6%. The smallest part of visitors came for Adult audio books 2%, Young adults 6% and Children’s DVD’s 1%.
In conclusion Adults from 18 to 64 years make the biggest attendance to a library for getting a Children’s fiction and Adult fiction making up more then a half of visiting and loan number have generally increased over the decade
