The bar graph displays the education stage of men and women in Glasgow which is a city in Scotland in 2010 by considering their ages, while the accompanying pie charts illustrate the proportional distribution of education in gender regardless of their ages.
Overall, it can be seen that, in all age groups, university degrees constituted the overwhelming majority, with one exception to this was people were 75+, which most of them had no qualifications. In addition, there was a relatively fair distribution in education levels by gender, while no qualifications were slightly higher than the others.
To begin, the age ranges of 16-24, 25-35, and 35-50 experienced similar percentages of tertiary education degrees, with almost three-quarters and 9% of no qualifications, compared to the age group of 50-75, which was a half of university education degrees and just under a third of no qualifications. Senior people, on the other hand, made up 72% with no qualifications, while school certificates and university degrees were 3%, and 25%, respectively.
In terms of education levels by gender, males and females were divided proportionally, at almost a third, while no qualification was more dominant than the others, with, 38% in women and 35% in men. The proportions of school certificates, however, were the same, at 33%, while university degrees were 32% in males and 29% in females.
