The charts indicate the proportion of citizens who were in the possession of mobile phone and sent messages in two different genders depending on their age group in Eden Hills in 2002.
Overall, it is clear that the majority of mobile phone was used by the males most. Whereas the number of women who had the access to the message in the youngest age group accounted for a higher figure than those of men.
As can be seen from the chart, more men in the age of 10 to 29 than women owned mobile phone, with about 95% of males compared to 90% of females. Alongside with that, in the age group of 30 to 44 the figure showed that men stood at 90% which was 10% higher than women (80%). Interestingly, there was a same difference in both the older and the oldest age group. The percentage of former was 15% more than the latter, namely in 85%; 70% for men and 70%;55% for women.
Looking at the second chart, there was almost a quadruple figure in making a message sent of males in 2 different ages under 30 and over 30, which was 33% and 8%, respectively. Whereas, men who were over 30 years old did not have online conversation made up for 55% which was 40% higher than those of under 30s (15%). At 48%, the proportion of females over 30s who did not text through a social app was about four times as much as that of women did it (12%). Meanwhile, the youngest women were particularly drawn to texting messages (45%) and the opposite was 12% for those who were not into it.
