In general, it is readily apparent that the price of airline ticket was higher from Friday to Monday. Compare to week 1, week 2 prices decreased considerably or identical for nearly all flights.
In week 1, flights from Sydney to Melbourne started at 80$ on Monday, before having substantial decrease with under 40$ over the next 3 days. However, flights from Sydney to Melbourne on Friday, Saturday and Sunday witness a significant growth of $75, $70 and $50. During the second week, the price of airline ticket from Sydney to Melbourne on Monday declined dramatically to 50$, and then went up considerably, generating around 75$.
In terms of flights from Melbourne to Sydney, the trend was comparable with flights on Monday of week 1 increased to 60$ and the most expensive flight on Friday at 80$.
