Overall, the fraction of only english users decreased remarkably, whereas the proportion of the pupil with a knowledge of the Spanish language gained considerable percent. German-speaking and people who speak in two additional languages’ ratio had a slight fall. However, the fraction of other languages rose, whilst German users percent remained stable.
In 2005, the share of pupils that are not capable to speak other languages than English established 45%. In contrast, this number dropped to 30% in 2015. Only Spanish users’ proportion grown from 18% in 2005 to 29% in 2015. The number of the French students rose slightly by 2%, being 8% in 2005, and reaching 10% after one decade. In addition, German language used only with 5% of the students and experienced no changes throughout the period. The fraction of other languages showed 10% in 2005, that was grown to 14% in 2015. Users of two languages’ percent went up from 12% to 14% across ten years.
