It is evident that the highest proportion of students chose a college or university for suitable degree courses, while the percentage of students who selected a college or university for sports activities in 2008 and for institution’s reputation in 2017 was the lowest during the period shown.
As presented in the charts, in 2008, 30% of students preferred a college for teaching quality, and it decreased to 26% in the year 2017.A similar trend was observed for suitable degree courses, where 38% of learners chose a college for their suitable degree courses and it came down to 32% in the final year.
According to the provided data, at the beginning of the period, 17% of pupils selected a college for proximity to parental home, and this figure decreased to 13% in the last year. On the other hand, both figures (sports and activities, and institutions reputation) was increased from 7%,8% to 17%,18%, respectively between 2008 and 2017
