The charts illustrate middle age of people between men and women, who stopped work in different seven countries between 2004 and 2008.
Overall, we can see that the largest proportion of individuals who retired from work were men in five countries, while women accounted for a smaller share, only in three countries. In additional, in France people stopped working earlier than in others countries, such as Sweden, UK, Netherlands and Denmark.
Many men left workforce around in 62 years old in Sweden, UK, Netherlands and Denmark. In Germany, men stopped working when they reached 61 in 2004 and 62 years old. Itally and France had the lowest proportion of men who retired from work. In 2004, the middle age of men who lives in France approximately 59 and in 2008 about the same. In Itally only 60 between 2004 and 2008.
Many women stopped working at the 63 years old in Sweden in 2004 and 2008.Denmark and Itally had the same proportion of women who left workforce-60. In Germany and UK, women retire from work at the 60-61 age.
