The table and the line graph illustrate how much time was spend on leisure activities and household activities in both genders in the year 2008 in the UK.

Overall, watching television, video and listening radio were by far the most prevalent leisure activities in both genders whereas the least free-time activity belongs to playing sport. In addition, women spent considerably time in general house chores, except for repair work, which was commonly performed by men.

In terms of leisure, the lion’s shared of time was devoted to watching TV, video or listening radio in both genders, with 137 minutes for male and 118 minutes for female.
