The tables show the results of the six-month research among patients who had had problems with cognitive impairment.
Overall, there are two groups: members of the first one were doing an aerobic exercise, while patients from the second were practising in stretching and balancing. Hence, better results equally in all three comparison categories was in the firts aerobic group.
Memory of the patients from group A had no changes, however there was a deterioration in the same cognitive ability between members of the group B. Moreover, group A had a improvements in thinking speed, whilst the second part of tests subjects had only deterioration in this skill. At the same time, the similar results coud be noticed in the word fluency: group A had improved it significaly, although group B had a stable regress in this knack too.
To sum up, the research demonstrates that an aerobic exercise is more helpful for the patient with cognitive problems, that non-aerobic, and they could bring a real result even in a half of a year.
